OK, I've been trying all season to be patient and waiting for all the new players to get acquainted and learn to play together, but I've reached the end of the road on a number of fronts. First, Guly do Prado is the worst Fire player I've seen in years. He loafs. He wanders all over the field clogging up passing lanes and contributing nothing. He bitches when he is removed from the game. HE SUCKS. Kennedy Igbo finally got some minutes Saturday and looked fine. He hustled, almost scored, set up others. I like what I have seen of Accam and Jones. Maloney seems ok. What I don't get is that this team isn't very good. As was the case last season, there is no offensive creativity. No one seems to have a clue what to do in the last 20 yards. I'd think that given the poor results to date, Yallop would be playing his new young players to see what they can do. Guys like Quincy and Watson are fine young men, but we've seen them before and they are just pluggers who may be good spot players on a good team, but they will never lead us out of this morass. I could say the same about 90% of the players. At a minimum, I want them all to hustle (as Quincy does) and push forward. Prado doesn't do any of that. When a team struggles as this one has, you have question the coach. Last year, Yallop had to live with someone else's players. This year, he's got the team he and Bliss created. I like most of the acquisitions they've made with the clear exception of do Prado. Please get rid of that piece of garbage. But where's Perez? Where's Fernandez? Why has Palmer not played much? Please don't tell me that getting Magee and Nyako back will cure everything. It won't. Moves need to be made. If results don't improve, then higher level changes are needed. I'm not just a talking about wins, but this team is boring and dull and has so little threat to score that I've been leaving games early which I have never done in my past 17 seasons as a ticket holder.
Fixed. Although, I do get your point about Yallop and I don't disagree with the assessment. However, who are you going to get and what difference would it possibly make in the current structure created by ownership?
I can't think of anyone with MLS head coaching experience who is available midseason. There is, of course, CJ Brown, who now has three seasons under Jason Kreis I believe. Maybe we need a new thread dedicated to discussing a potential replacement for Yallop.
1) Yes. 2) Yes. I believe that was the game right after the editorial, but I'm not entirely sure of that.
^^^NOT missing that guy! Hey everybody...THREE CHEERS FOR OUR MODS! Rubber dick! Rubber dick! Rubber dick!!!!
Yallop on Do Prado, "Guly has been a striker for his entire career, but we see him more as a defensive midfielder."

I missed Humo as an option originally. My apologies to @danimal60914. The error has been rectified. @seamuslush regrets this error.
******** it. Edited to add - I posted this so other people can be mad about ancient DS decisions for catharsis...
