    Friday, April 14th

20:00 FCU Politehnica Timisoara - Jiul Petrosani

    Saturday, April 15th

17:00 FC National Bucuresti - FC Vaslui
17:00 Otelul Galati - Sportul Studentesc Bucuresti
17:00 Pandurii Tg. Jiu - CFR Ecomax Cluj
20:30 Dinamo Bucuresti - Gloria Bistrita

    Sunday, April 16th

16:30 FC Arges Pitesti - Farul Constanta
17:00 Politehnica Iasi - Rapid Bucuresti

The match between FCM Bacau and Steaua Bucuresti will be played on May 17th.

This is pretty much a top vs. bottom round as there's no game between teams from the top 8.

The closest match is FC Arges Pitesti vs. Farul Constanta but it's a game with nothing at stake. Arges is out of the relegation battle and has no hope for an UEFA spot. Farul is more or less in the same situation, but they are focused on the Romanian Cup. That's why the match of the day is Poli Iasi vs. Rapid, a match that will pretty much decide if Rapid still have a shot at the title or they should go for the cup only.

Lots of away wins. Sportul, a surprise team. A very young, also.

Nicolae Ungureanu is the new manager of Pandurii. He has quit his job at FC Caracal (second division).
