I know they are a favorite target to shoot at, but honestly, these gals and their choreographer (one of the nicest people I've ever met in my life) work VERY hard, make appearences for The Crew when the guys can't show up (many times for charities) and they receive NO PAY for all their time and effort. ZAK, I hope you enjoyed these.

You didn't derail the thread, LUD. I just don't want to see this thread degenerate into a Crewzer shooting gallery. Some people get all in a tizzy over a dance group that NO one forces anyone to watch. When I'm at games, and they perform, I simply look elsewhere, or read something. I have known people in similar groups, and I admire their hard work and dedication to their job. Let's just focus on the team.

Pussy aside, the article brings up and interesting point, namely that we have an SI slot open. In fact, since Oughton is long overdue for his green card, we could have TWO SI spots in the not too distant future.
This is one reason why I'm not willing to put Columbus in the losers column with regards to their draft. With one SI slot open, one probably coming open, a looming signing of Hejduk and other means of player acquisition I think Columbus drafted and traded to fill their holes left after grabbing additional players through other avenues.
