He looked pretty good today against the tired Sixers. A true matchup nightmare.

He had a few great games recently. He is now being compared to Larry Bird.

Funny, he's been compared to Larry Bird for some time now ;)

A 7 footer who can shoot from ANYWHERE. Truly frightening! [IMG]

Yeah, but he can't play defense.

    Says who?

He's one of the league's top rebounders.

Says most of the league's experts. He's a little better defensively this year but is still soft. It's easy to grab a lot of rebounds when you're 7'0", especially when you play a run and gun style with tons of shots in a game.

Agree with you and them. During play off basketball -- where it becomes a half court game of attrition -- he tends to disappear defensively in the fourth quarter. He's 7ft and only tied for 32nd in the league in blocked shots! He's quite the player right now, but needs to get tougher to become the best.

He'll probably also have to settle for watching Tim Duncan win it again.

The real NBa doesn't start til after the Allstar break, lets see what he does in the second half, when it means something, like playoffs.
