I'm going to be in London at the end of June and I'd like to stop by the Club Shop and get me a QPR jersey (among other things). I'm going to be staying with friends either in Ealing or Fulham. If anyone could provide the following info, I'd greatly appreciate it. * Address of Club Shop * Hours * Directions from nearest tube station (walking distance?) Thanks!
The club shop is at the ground on South Africa Road. Getting there is quite easy and is a 5-10 minute walk from the nearest tube station, White City station on the Central Line. Exit the White City station onto Wood Lane (the only exit). Go right on Wood Lane to the next street, which is South Africa Road. Turn left on South Africa Road. Walk down a few minutes and the stadium will be on your left. The club shop is on the South Africa Road side of the stadium on the corner of the stadium that is at the far end from Wood Lane. The map at this page covers the area from the White City tube station to the stadium: http://www.qpr.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Directions/0,,10373,00.html The other nearby stops (Shepherds Bush on the Central Line and Shepherds Bush on the Hammersmith & City Line) are a slightly longer walk and require more turns, etc., and are recommended if you're going for a match and want more food and bar options before/after the match. If you're just going to the club shop, I'd go to White City. If you want to go via the Shepherds Bush station on the Hammersmith & City Line, exit the station onto Uxbridge Road, go right to either Loftus Road or Bloemfontein Road, which also appear on the map, and turn right to go toward South Africa Road. If you go via Loftus Road, please note that the final half block to South Africa road can be walked, but the road does not go through for cars. Here's a link to the club shop, so you can see what items they have: http://shop.qpr.co.uk/Index.pasp Unfortunately, the club shop's website doesn't list their hours. Their "contact us" page lists this phone number (0870-2404547) and asks you to call from 9-5 M-F, so those are likely their normal hours (of course, they're open before and after matches on Saturdays). FYI, they do personalize jerseys for a small fee with the official numbering/lettering. If you have any other questions, just let us know.
