Sorry if this has already been posted elsewhere, but does anyone have an idea of when the fine people at DirectTV plan on publishing this schedule.
I can't speak for Direct TV, but the Direct Kick schedule itself is already out. You can find it at mlsnet.com and also on BigSoccer somewhere. (Sorry I can't be more helpful.)
It is? The only info I see on Direck Kick on MLSnet is the press release announcing it's availablility at: http://www.mlsnet.com/library/on_tv.html If you know where the schedule is can you post a link? To anyboy, which teams have released their TV schedules so far, and where can I find them? I buy the Shootout/Direct Kick mainly to be able to see Rapids games, the rumor is that the Rapids will only be televising their home games this year, and since most teams don't televise thier home games (Rapids road games) I'm wondering if they'll be enough Rapids games in the package to be worth buying...
d'oh! my bad. it's NOT out, at least not that i know of. i was thinking of something else. my excuse? i was very hungry and needed some lunch. wasn't thinking. apologies.
In Demand has a Direct Kick Schedule here: http://www.indemand.com/sports/schedules/MLS_APRsked04.pdf But I need help from anyone who has had this package before. I ordered the package and have Comcast Digital Cable (Dallas). It took about 3 trys to order it which is a whole other story but supposedly I do have it now. The rep told me the channels would be 421-425. Well I was trying to setup the VCR this morning and it won't let me go to those channels. When I try to type in 421 it just goes back to the channel I originally was at. It acts like it is not a valid channel number. I spent about 30 minutes this morning with a rep who now tells me the channels are 447-450 (which I think are NBA Pass) Well no matter cause it does the same thing when I try to go to those channels. It won't stay on the number. Neither of those groups of channels are listed in the menu. And the rep keeps thinking I am talking about "Barcleycard" and Aresenal. She ended up saying that I can't get to the channel because there isn't a game on yet. Is that true? Is the channel not accessible until the games starts or was she just clueless? If that is the case then that really sucks because I need to set up the cable box to tape before I go to work. I can't be there when the games starts because I will be at the Cotton Bowl. Anybody (especially who has Dallas Comcast) who has any advice I appreciate it. I ended up just setting up the VCR for the FSW game at 9.
Adelphia digital cable isn't even making the channels Direct Kick will appear on available. Aggravating.
This is pissing me off. First, I have to deal with morons in a boothe somewhere that don't even know there is a package, and then when I finally get to order the package by talking to the superviser, I get blacked out. Funny, the company's name is "Bright House." Someone should turn on the lights.
