I'm glad and comfortable when a broadcast starts and the announcers turn out to be Dave Dir and Brad Sham cause they're knowledgable, relaxed, and not as bad of "homers" as, like, the NY/NJ guys or the L.A. guys. However. During the last game at CO Rapids, they strayed away from the topic at hand for long stretches. (granted it wasn't a match for the ages) The non-match topic for one lengthy stretch during the action was the Arena/Hankinson/Gansler/Mastroeni etc call-up controversy. But that wasn't the only long stretch where, like former announcer Ty Keough did, they ignored the efforts of the athletes. I know you've got it in ya, Mr. Announcers. Even if every game isn't a gem, the players really are hustling for us down there on the field, so, please show some urgency...if not for me, Dave and Brad, then for the rookie's mom back home in Peoria or wherever! P.S. I miss the radio show
