It looks like Jota is on the outs at Wolves and there is strong suggestion from credible sources involved with Liverpool that the club is going to make a move for him.
Liverpool and Wolves have agreed a fee of £41m rising to £45m for Diogo Jota. In a separate deal, Ki-Jana Hoever is valued at £9m plus £4.5m in add ons to move from Liverpool to Wolves.— paul joyce (@_pauljoyce) September 18, 2020
Jota came off the bench today in the 80th minute of his Liverpool league debut and scored the insurance goal in a 3-1 win over Arsenal. He found space and had chances a few times and looked good fitting in.
I always thought Diogo Jota was the brightest prospect at Wolves. The moment he started improving, his team started scoring more. He has a bright future ahead of him. His absence really exposed the limitations of the mexican Gimines.
Did I lie when I changed the thread title? Jota scored with 3 players in front of him and the keeper. Failix can't beat the keeper one on one.
Great year for Jota, really happy for the guy, has mage huge strides in the last two years. You know you can compliment one with out trashing another. Our National team is only richer if both keep growing Its not a competition.
Still early, but damnn this guy seems to be reaching a new level. 2 goals today in CL. Has to be one of the best starts for a Portuguese player on an English team in history.
FC Porto is the reason why Portugal Is what it is today. It all started after the era when PDC, Jose Maria Pedroto, and Artur Jorge, led Porto to victory in 1987 at
LOL I dont know about that buddy, the likes of Ronaldo, Figo etc etc. Sporting has done more for our country than any other. Lets be honest, there was a time when Neither Porto or Benfica were producing many young Portuguese players at all.
Sporting? Don’t make me laugh, Ronaldo was a product of man united and Figo developed because he left to winning clubs such as Barcelona or Real Madrid.
