Re: Diego Penny - Burnley FC bad move, IMO. http://www.burnleyfootballclub.premiumtv.co.uk/page/LatestHeadlines/0,,10413~1323553,00.html
Re: Diego Penny - Burnley FC Bad move because it's second division. He could easily start in a mid-to-lower table team somewhere in Mexico, Brazil or Argentina, IMHO. Horrible move, actually
Re: Diego Penny - Burnley FC he is still very young for a golie... the Mexico, Brazil, or Argentina would have been nice pero se nota que esta apurado de salir de Peru como muchos otros.
Re: Diego Penny - Burnley FC como todos y despues regresan con el rabo entre las piernas. Let's hope I'm wrong.
Re: Diego Penny - Burnley FC well, it's probably a better 1st division than anywhere else, really. *shrugs* hopefully, he impresses and moves on. he's got time on his side.
Re: Diego Penny - Burnley FC at least he will be eating the delicacy known as fish and chips and not that nasty jalea and ceviche peruano!! hahahaha la cago bien feo! pero quien sabe... derrepente toca la flauta, se convierte en titular y su equipo sube a primera.
Re: Diego Penny - Burnley FC isnt a little too soon to open this thread ? " And Burnley manager Owen Coyle remains confident that the appeal on Friday, June 27, will allow Penny to finally join the Clarets."
Re: Diego Penny - Burnley FC I'm a Burnley fan looking for info on this guy. Seen some limited footage on him from Copa Sudamerica and he doesn't look well suited to our game - too erratic and pushing the ball out to opposition strikers' feet. In fact he looks like a disaster waiting to happen. Is this typical of his performances? By the way, it isn't all fish and chips. We're northern and we like pie and peas. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pie_and_peas
Re: Diego Penny - Burnley FC He's shit, worst GK EVER. Act now and prevent your team from signing him. Please?
Re: Diego Penny - Burnley FC We've had some bad ones! He looked like he couldn't catch but was a decent shot stopper. Does he come for crosses.
Re: Diego Penny - Burnley FC I'd quite like a keeper to hold on to the ball or force it away from goal instead of pushing it back towards the strikers for them to have another shot. Not all English football involves hacking it long (just the shite that McClown made us play in internationals recently). Check out footage of Burnley v Arsenal from this years FA Cup to see that we do actually play with some skill. If he gets a work permit it will be interesting to see if he is up to scratch. He will get a fair chance to show what he is about because our manager seems to think our current keepers are lame. Think it is fair to say that supporters who have seen footage are quite worried but the novelty of having a south american at the club and the fact that we are quite supportive fans means he will get a decent level of support from the longside.
Re: Diego Penny - Burnley FC Well I hope it goes well for Penny, he did great in that match Peru played against Brazil for the qualifiers. He seems a bit too rushed though, oh well, hope he does well.
Re: Diego Penny - Burnley FC Penny is like many Peruvian keepers, he makes spectacular saves, but sometimes lets the easy ones get away.
Re: Diego Penny - Burnley FC Seriously...if Penny goes "abroad" and goes the Forsight way (ON THE BENCH) We will not have all that many options in GK like we always talk about. The pecking order would change a lot Fernandez would be on the top along with Butron. Pelo duro Delgado might be back in the mix Hell, Chiquito too
