I'm concerned about the possible negative influence El Diego can have on this team. Agreed, the words from this old mafioso of Grondona were completely out of place considering what El Pibe brought to Argentine football. But the main question here is why Maradona, claiming to be fan #1 would leave the game before the end.

He has been voicing his lack of confidence in this team, saying he doesn't see them ready and so on. While it's something many of us also feel, it gives a bad feeling hearing this from him, who is such an influential person in our football.

Now it seems he is having a beef with Aguero over his exposing his son to the cameras, saying Kun behaves like a coward. We could really do without this kind of crap. I can imagine it adds some more pressure to Aguero on the field, thinking about his ex-father-in-law eyes focusing on any mistake he could do.

As most Argentines, I am forever thankful to Diego for what he has given us, but seriously he had his chance at coaching, he should now just let Sabella do his job and at least appear to give full support to the guys. If the team crashes, he can then go ahead and pour out all his criticism.

    VAMOS ARGENTINA!

    Pipiolo repped this.

Its Maradona being Maradona. Always an erratic person since he was born.
