I was just looking through the When Saturday Comes (Jan 2003) that somebody gave me, and on page 14, in a story called "Choice of the Nation" there is a picture of Diego, in his Fire uniform telling how he played for Columbia as a youth, and "Not wishing to run the risk of fielding an uneligible player, the US federation has steered clear of selecting him." This post is just FYI only, I thought if you have WSC you would want to look at it. Didn't he go to Korea and play in a game about a year before the World Cup?
