Awesome. Watched the whole 25 minute video. Last time, FIFA did a "Match 64" documentary about 2010 World Cup Final. Hope they put out something like that again. Haven't seen anything so far.

 

Hummels looks like Kuranyi.

Does anyone know where one can find high-resolution photos of those first moments when the ref blew the whistle. Like this? It's quite a low resolution file that if used as a screen background on a 13" laptop, it pixelates. Still awesome, though.

 

I was lucky enough to attend the WC2010 game, in which Die Mannschaft thrashed Argentina 4-0. Absolutely impressed with Germany throughout that tournament, and I am so glad to see them beat Argentina AGAIN, to become World Champions! Here are two of my photos, just as a throwback:

Yeah, I was surprised when I saw the posting date on the youtube channel, November 12, 2013... Wow, that CM would've felt really sour had we lost the WC.

Never saw this one before. Reaction when Götze's goal happened. Extra cool because it's both Miro and Poldi

 

What I found interesting is that everybody(incl the whole bench) ran into the direction of Götze celebrating with the exception of Schweini who made a uturn towards our own half looking to the sky with relief. I guess he thought "finally.....".

That's him at the final whistle of the final. He can't even celebrate then because he is so physically drained and probably mentally as well. I've said it before, but that's my all time favorite performance in any sport, because of the heart he put into it.
