Well if we have Sule (or even Ginter) in the startelf, we can do a slight transition from back 3 to back 4 throughout the match

We lack a dynamic 6, such transition can be useful.

Let’s use Ginter as an example, but I think Sule can play this role too.

    During offence:

    ————GK
    -Kim—Boa—Mats—Hector
    ————Ginter
    ——Khedira-Kroos
    -Muller—Werner—Sane

    Defence:

    ————GK
    —-Ginter-Boa—Mats
    -Kim-Sami--Kroos-Hector
    —Muller—Werner-Sane

So it can be a switch on the pitch and we don’t have to concern too much about back 3 or back 4

I think he did it only vs Italy where we had Hector, Hummels, Boa, Howedes and Kimmich.

But the remaining matches went with a 4-2-3-1 or basically a 4-3-3 vs France, where we tried Can taking the place of injured Khedira in the 3 man midfield with Kroos and Basti.

3 man CB was used in majority of the CC though.

I want Julian Brandt in the team as he can play as proper right winger as Muller's sub...he is also an all rounder overall who can play in left wing and behind the striker as well...I would like to drop Julian Draxler who only plays occasionally well as a left winger and underwhelming as a right winger...I think Brandt brings more into the team than Draxler....but Draxler will not get dropped...I wish we could take 24 players

    lol

if Wagner didn't retire from the NT, he's obviously blacklisted now anyways. Kevin Kuranyi 2.0.

I completely agree. Draxler never performs well in big matches and on occasion is good against minnows.

I have to hope Reus and Sane really impress in the camp and permanently bench his ass.

except for Wagner's tears, there were pics of him crying, lol.

    or even Ozil as well.

glad to see more people not being convinced by Draxler. I think he's had too many chances to prove himself without ever doing anything. But he's a Low fav and Low extended to 2022, sadly he's not going anywhere. Even Gnabry when fit should be ahead of him.

Petersen probably brings whatever Wagner would've brought to the team without the baggage.

he's a better striker too so he brings even more to the table than Wagner.

The other thing about guys like Petersen, Stindl and Gomez who are around the ages of Wagner. Is that all 3 of those have been club captains. Petersen captained Freiburg for half the season as Schuster was injured for half the season. With Schuster retired now, he could become the captain. Stindl is captain of Gladbach.

guys like that are more likely to humble and team players over Wagner's arrogance and self-entitlement.

XI who I think it’s a pity that can’t make the preliminary squad:

    Karius

    Lars Bender
    Thilo Kehrer
    Kevin Vogt
    Max Philipp

    Marius Wolf
    Emre Can
    Pascal Gross
    Serge Gnabry

    Mark Uth
    Sandro Wagner

    Honarably mentioned:

Fullkrug, Stindl, Max Kruse, Volland, Nico Schulz, Daniel Caligiuri, Fahrmann, Max Philipp, Christoph Kramer
