Did you know that Bobby Convey's father once threatened me?

My senior year of HS, my school was playing Penn Charter (where Convey spent his 8th grade and freshman years, also Chris Albright's alma mater) when I noticed that Bobby's younger brother was on the field. Throughout most of the first half I was yelling such things at him as "Convey, you'll always be in your brother's shadow!". Finally, towards the end of the half, I let loose with a full-throated "Convey, YOU SUCK!!!" At which point a fairly large man standing in front of me turned around and said "You better be more careful who you're standing next to when you say shit like that or you and me are going to have words."

I can't remember if I ever shared this with the BigSoccer community or not, but I think it's pretty funny.
