The DFL apparently had almost all videos on youtube deleted that include a name of one of the clubs in some way. Hundrets of great support videos that show 0,00000000 secons of gameplay were deleted. For example I had a video of pictures of my friends and me traveling to awaygames. It got deleted. I had a video of pictures of our fans. Simply pictures of our tifos and our fanscene. Not once did it show players or a gamescene. It got deleted. What the f*ck do they think thats gonna do now?! Where did any of these videos hurt the dfl or OUR beautiful game?! They should rather do something against those chinese corporations that show almost all games for free in the internet... But that would be too hard, when its so nice and easy to go at the little people... F*CK MODERN FOOTBALL! AGAINST OPPRESSIONS! RECLAIM THE GAME!
this is just sickening!! did it ever occur to them, some fans rely on those youtube videos to a get feel for their team??? unbelievable...
Rummenigge said something like "it's obvious, if the fans find those clips on the internet, they won't pay to watch them, who would pay for something he can get for free?" You see, bayern has a deal with T-Online, and so do many other teams, and they feel like everything related to the Bundesliga on Youtube is included in the T-Online agreement.
Yeah, but you can't get those things from t-online unless you live in Germany. And even there, you can't get videos of the fans' choreos and stuff. Just plain stupid. Edit: I sent an email to Bundesliga.de. I urge you guys to do the same.
The DFL don´t notice, that these clips (also the match clips) are advertisement for the Bundesliga. They shouldn´t be suprised, that the BL falls behind in international competition, if they act so stupid.
It already began in the US, Comedy Central started pulling all its material from YouTube and numerous others are in the process of doing the same.
really? I don't know how many were up before, but I typed in " Bayern Munich" and got 446 hits of Munich games against everyone. How many clips were up before? I usually only seek out N.T. vids or VFB ones and still got 165 stuttgart videos.
It was the same with music downloads, they just refuse to accept that because more people are watching/downloading something for free, doesn't necessarily mean there is a market for it. It's the best mode of advertising for clubs, as it is for small bands, plain and simple. Well Comedy Central has loads of videos on their own website, NBC is another story though.
Good point. Like Napstar, YouTube will be the "example" but also the pioneer that spawns a dozen copy cats... then the regulators will find it hard to stop it at all. Think drug trafficing... er... bad example.
I dont think the DLF can stop englishmen coming to germany to watch matches. That should be the responsibility of the border police. You should hate them.
It's on youtube I think, at least I saw a video of it. Well, that particular moment in the end was rather awkward. Everybody was sitting down an expecting a Humba that never came.
Ok the one I mentioned before was videotube, but this one is youtube and still on: Keine Fahne Keine Punkte BxB Just a glimpse of the derby atmosphere and another Derby Choreo
