Still waiting us to conceide a normal goal this season.

1 PK, 2 own goals, 1 Neuer, Boateng fault.

Why do you keep insisting on being the biggest tool in the Bayern forum?

With that said, I really hope Muller gets benched next week, Alaba over Muller vs Napoli please.

They're counting the 5th as an OG on Martin Matip.

Ingolstadt were incredible today in their Shakespeareanesque rendition of traffic cones.

    *hand clap for home team.

As they should. If it is deemed that the shot would have missed otherwise it is an OG.

Good outing from Usami. Hope they put a bit more trust in him.

Pranjic and Alaba also very good

We could have got that playing our reserves. I love cup days, but it didn't seem like Ingolstadt even cared.

I wonder if this will have a bearing on Pranjic as well. Either way Alaba is a CM but should get a lot more time. I agree with Usami as well, I hope to see 10-30 minute cameos off him in the BL preferably. :(

Great game, considering how few minutes most of our players had seen prior to this game. The difference in their play from what we saw in pre-season was quite encouraging. Ingolstadt was at least as good as many of our early opponents' pre-season form.

Great to see Olic smiling. Good to see Pranjic finally get some time.

Pranjic's situation suggests that, unlike on the wing, we are set at CM and a player would have to be crazy to leave a starting position with another team for our bench.

With all due respect, there is a lot of people who dislike Gomez.

P Lahm is a respected member of this boards and there is no reason to attack him personally.

    Let's all agree to disagree.

I am sure they know what they have with him. He is young and there is no need for him to be just thrown out there immediately.

Let him get adjusted and acclimated for a while. Also he has been playing for a while. Not like with the others who started their season in August. Usami has not had an off-season yet.

Interesting thing I just thought about; Kagawa came form Japan last year and was in mid-season there. Could it be that it helped him find his stride quicker in the BL? No doubt that he has class though...

Olic still seems rusty to me, which is understandable since he is coming from a long lay off. Hope he gets back to his old self soon, because we will need him to contribute in Bundesliga or CL sooner or later.

Alaba was amazing, and so was Kross.

Good to see Pranic back in the team. Just like Tymo, he is a true professional.

While I agree that PL is an old hand here, I don't share his opinion of Gomez.

It was a good night. It was a 'training' match, and the lineup/play showed it. I'm not sure why Muller started.

Great result. I DO hope that some of these players get more time in this rotation. Give them more time/confidence, and we will finally see some depth on our bench.
