I'm "pleased" we got Hoffenheim too, but the word "easy" never entered my mind.....

Those guys are going to give us a battle. I know they will. Just as you guys are going to get CZ Jena's best effort.

You guys nearly blew a 3-0 lead to Bremen II in the last round. You're so "confident" now??

Yeah I am. It's probably unhealthy. But i'm still confident :)

    MUNICH DERBY!!! WOW!;)

However, it's so unfair to see 3 first league teams having the home advantage against 2nd league teams (especially Stuttgart after their last round against Paderborn)!

How the hell is it "unfair?!" The pairings came about as the result of a draw!

    Get over it.

I would've thought it was unfair that we had to go 5 years between 2002 and 2007 before we got a home game in the cup. 5 years! But it's not unfair. It's part of a draw, that's how these things are decided, it's the most fair way possible.

Derbi will be exciting of course!

I hope HSV will beat easy Wolfsburg and in final Bayern!

We haven't had one single home game at Borussia-Park either until now.

Btw: My statement wasn't really meant seriously. ;)

I don't usually do Cup predictions because the Cup is so unpredictable.

And for the record, I think the BVB v. Hoffenheim match-up is this round's best chance for an upset.

    But, here goes.

    BVB 3-----------Hoffenheim 2

Frei at least twice for BVB. Hoffenheim pushes, but doesn't quite pull it off.

    Stuttgart 5------CZ Jena 0

Gomez at least twice for Stuttgart. Jena just over-matched this time.

    VfL Wolfsburg 1---HSV 2

A penalty will be the difference.

    Bayern 6----------1860 1

Bayern goes up 5-0 on an injury riddled 1860 team, concedes an unlucky consolation goal, but tacks on another. This is not what I want to happen, but what I think will happen. I'd love to see the upset here.

One day before the derby Bayern fans broke into the Grünwalder stadium yesterday and painted the area were the 1860 "hardcore" fans stand red and white.

That's pretty awesome I have to admit. :D

No, but the City of Munich will be. Gruenwalder Stadion is not owned by Bayern or 1860, but the City of Munich. That's why I think this was stupid.

    still funny.

Depends how much effort is required to clean it up, but its probably water based paint and will squirt off with a hose.

    They hope......

Stealing a banner like Schalke fans did to us is 'funny.' Not to us BVB fans, but it is funny. However, if they had defaced Westfalenstadion, that is "out of bounds" and it would have been f#cking war.

From where I sit, it is not only stupid, but they damaged city property and they are inviting retaliation by some sort of defacing of the Allianz Arena by 1860 fans.

1860 no longer has a stake in the Arena, so why should they care?

Oh, but that's right. It's just fun!

They didn't need this bullshit for emotions to run high. They will just be running higher now. If the City of Munich are smart, they will not only have more police than usual there, they will have some inside the Allianz Arena.

1860 may not beat Bayern on the pitch, but with this f#cking stupid move, I'll bet some hardcore 1860 fans try to take out their frustrations on some Bayern fans asses.....

    Dude,

over thinking isn't good for you. its a prank. Its probably water based paint. If it is, then it will spray off with a hose. that's not a big deal.

if its oil based paint, well that would be a mess to clean up and actually cost some money - but its still funny.

Don't go all PC on me - enjoy the laugh, move on.
