Detroit to get USL Pro in 2015

    Well. That's one way to get a stadium built for your team. Have your brother end up Mayor. Duggan's been in USL for effing ever. This is really kinda cool, and I'm really glad for him. He's one that's been in it for the long haul and it would be really special for this all to work out nicely for him.

    except that Detroit City FC of the NPSL has been packing the stands for a couple of years now and they are already located in downtown Detroit. I just don't think that there is any substance to this Michigan Bucks possible relocation and a new SSS story.

    Bucks aren't relocating. They are staying in PDL and in Pontiac. Just the same owner.

    Interesting that he wants to run a full service club. He wants a MLS team, USL club, PDL club, alongside a youth program and an international partnership. I suppose everybody was waiting for him to make his move and this is the right time. I'm intrigued on how DCFC fits into all of this

    Detroit is the largest media market without a MLS team. It seems only a matter of time until that is rectified.
