How in the blue hell did Mark Pulisic, the scum from Harrisburg, get that job?

It should have went to Steve Morris. Everyone knows he is gunning for Tozer's job and wants to coach. This was his chance to prove himself in Detroit and then take over for Tozer

It's exciting to see soccer back in the Detroit area!

I have season tickets for the ignition. I've heard that they are almost sold out for the season.

I was wondering how they hoped to not lose a butt load of money, since they're playing in a 3,500 seat "arena," but it looks like the tickets are pretty high.

I guess if they create some sort of demand for Ignition tickets they'll have to move to a bigger place. I think they're in good hands with this Bibb guy.

High demand is key. Many news articles have stated it will be the biggest party in town. Most home games are weekends in the evening.

Just when I thought that OsFan was the stupidest son-of-a-b on this forum, Dave K comes up and manages to take the title for himself.

I mean, every friggin post seems to slam on someone. A grown man talking shit like a 14 year old.

    Un-freaking-real.

Yeah Rich, I've seen Pulisic play about 20-30 times in the 90's. Guy was nothing more then a hack who would slam people into the boards for no reason. Fouled people relentlessly.

I hope Detroit is not going to play like that.

I was going to be really acerbic and sarcastic, but I won't.

Honestly, though, I just can't see any way they can sell 3,500 tickets toi every game, especially with these prices.

    I mean $22-$100 a game?

The hockey team (which does not sell out regularly) charges $11-$15 per game and junior hockey is a bigger draw in many markets than the MISL.

Plus, this league has already had a team in that venue and they folded one year after moving there I believe.

Frankly, I just don't see it.

WOW, $100.00 a ticket? Do you get a massage with a happy ending along with the game?

If all six teams return next year and keep the same attendance average, Detroit will bring the league average down 176 per game even if they sellout every game(which I guarantee they won't).

So much for ignoring yours truly. But I'll be kind. We're "All American F*ags", according to Jeb.

Why jump on Dave though for that post?

If they can get people dumb enough to pay that much for tickets, who cares if the average goes down? Now will they? Probably not and it'll be a moot point, but still you want money. Butts in the seats don't really mean jack.

I love how the website and the .pdf file have the Premier Gold and Premier Silver listed as sold out! Looking at the seating chart it looks like those sections are maybe about a total of 40 seats, if that. Gold is the front row next to each team bench. Silver is the row behind that.

Derian picks himself up the floor after laughing hysterically

On the bright side at least someone has updated the website. The MISL site still had the Cleveland Force logo until February and the scores archive have a San Diego vs Monterrey game.

Could you provide a link to the newspaper articles online? When I do a search I can only find either links to here (Big Soccer), the MISL or the paintball team. I cannot find one article posted online from a Detroit area newspaper.

    Thanks!

They should of went with a coach with a Detroit connection. How about Finnerty, Chapman, or Drago. Pato Margetic lives in the Detroit area and has ties to Detroit soccer and he was a player coach for the Chicago Power and won a title.

I love that Badge/logo, that is really nice. I figured they'd have a sparkplug implemented into it. The D logo isn't too bad either. Colors are great, but exactly like Cali's.

Only question I have is how can they charge for tickets like that. I guess there really must be loyal indoor fans there. Cheapest ticket $22 DAMN!

Do you at least get a cupon to buy a set of high end spark plugs for your ride?

Listen up brother. Clearly you are new to posting on this board, so welcome. Now it's evident that you can say anything that you want, based on the foolishness said by some of the Chicago Storm fans; but dude, you're straight up lying. Now you know damn well the soon to be folded franchise isn't close to selling 3,500 season tickets. Next the people from Chicago and Milwaukee will be saying the same.

Lets get some things out in the open. I do not like the Ignition. Nothing personal, but I think poorly ran organizations like that will always keep the MISL from growing. Personally, it sounds as if you work for the Ignition and is just trying to get a cheap pop from the members here. However, save for the fans of the Storm, Wave and Coguars, we're fairly smart.

    Try somewhere else.
