Mind filling me in on the steps for this, as I've heard conflicting things? Does everyone in your fireteam need to have this quest active? Do the need to be on the same steps of the quest?
honestly it's been a while since I had worked on the other steps, I've been hungup on the Nightfall step for a few weeks... I will say when doing the nightfall step, someone in the fireteam needs to either be on that step or have the Rat King equipped.
the past weekend we attempted the Raid again played for 6 hours and made it all the way to the final boss... good times.
We have yet to get past the first room of the raid, regardless what it is. First attempt really struggled at the gardens. Second attempt came oh-so-close at the baths.
Our biggest struggle was the gardens... we finally got by the bath house, which isn't bad once you get the rhythm down, and the gauntlet being the easiest of the three rooms... we finally got to the boss and had all kinds of issues... hoping to try it again this weekend
We were getting the rhythm down in the baths, it would get late, and someone needed to drop out. Got the rhythm back, would get to the lanterns in the middle, couldn't 1-cycle it, then it would all unravel. Like I said, oh-so-close.
our biggest issue this past weekend was xbox live in general, party chat was not working well at all... it would randomly disconnect a person from party chat... really frustrating...
We're supposed to give it a go again tonight. Dante et al used a sherpa the other night, got past the first room (pleasure gardens) and almost made it out of the gauntlet. No completions, yet.
Don't worry, someday I'll have a Warlock that can participate and then it'll be far easier to organize a group of six. Someday.
the final battle is no joke.... Curse of Osiris dropped yesterday. Didn't have much time to get into it, just grabbed my goodies from Eververse...
I played, and finished Curse of Osiris yesterday, it's rather short and to be honest, not all that fun. Sorely disappointed in it. Sorely disappointed.
How many times did you have to go to the void to destroy the skulls? We did it in two turns and that moment when you clear the psions and just start shooting the skulls for the second time, knowing that you have enough to bring him down, what a great feeling. We had him done by the time we hit the second plate the second time around. It was a good feeling. Now I just need to go back to complete some challenges and get the rest of the armor. The Throne Room is the part that took us the longest, after you get the patterns for the baths and gauntlet down you can complete them rather easily. Our biggest issue was just dealing with the psions, or having someone thrown around in the void room. The Raid sword is amazing, love using it.
yep, I was one of the three in the void room and the damn psion would always pop one of us.. but the turn we finally beat him, I think it was in 3 rounds.
Albeit brief, I dug the story missions for the most part, with a couple exceptions. The Cabal boss before the final boss - Panoptes - was much better, IMO, especially how he smashed the Vex one you think you're about to go up against. Was excited that Ikora would be coming with us to Mercury but, like Eris Morn's comment about the Traveler making ghosts, she was just there to open doors. The final boss fight was too simple ... I struggled more with the Vex boss at the top of the spire in past-Mercury. Spinfoil hat time ... I hope there's something to Osiris referring to his ghost, Sagira, as "little light".
Landed the Veist grenade launcher "The Colony" last night. That's the jawn which shoots out seeker spider bots. It's fun as shhhiiiiiiittttttt.
Looks cool, not sure if it's worth $89.00... https://www.amazon.com/Limited-Dest...id=1513007530&sr=8-3&keywords=ghost+destiny+2
