well, that was definitely quite a turn of events...1-1

 

PSV equalize nice cross and header. Dest not involved.

 

not exactly sure that they deserve to be tied...but that is why they play the game

 

Surging 60 yard run from Dest. Makes the safe pass out wide to Perisic who blasts it over the bar from just outside the box.

PSV take the lead, bit of a garbage goal off a corner but they all count.

 

Good chance for Dest to score from 10 yards out but he scuffs the half volley wide.

 

Dest should have done way better with that one...sigh

Ryan Metu is one to watch for Groningen, 17 and gave Dest problems off the bench.

while PSV was terrible, Groningen defenders were even worse

1-1! Still about 10 minutes left. A few minutes ago Dest had a fantastic cross across the six that was begging for someone to get on the end off, but nobody could.
