I thought it was between keeper right leg and post, but I was watching on a smaller screen too. Hard shot, well placed, keeper frozen, but a more confident, GAM keeper maybe gets a touch.

  5. 56' 1-3 GOAL by Alexander Sørloth! PSV gives the match completely out of their hands within a few minutes. Pablo Barrios puts the ball perfectly on Alexander Sørloth's head. The former FC Groningen striker sends a clinical header into the goal.

Funny that two former FC Groningen strikers score a goal against each other.

PSV on Rapport: three unsatisfactory scores on disappointing CL evening
A great series of PSV came to an end on Tuesday. Atlético Madrid proved to be too strong in the competition phase of the Champions League (2-3). Three players from coach Peter Bosz's team failed the score. PSV was unable to give its home crowd another unforgettable evening on Tuesday evening. After Napoli (6-2) and Liverpool (1-4) were downgraded earlier in this Champions League campaign, that was by no means the case against Atlético Madrid. On the contrary, because coach Diego Simeone had his affairs in order in Eindhoven. That also had to do with PSV, as Yarek Gasiorowski led in the equalizer of the Spanish top club. The defender gets a 5 for his performance against the Madrilenians. That also applies to Sergiño Dest, who did not have a very good evening, and goalkeeper Matej Kovar.

Dest didn't have a good game. His defense let him down.

  8. Match report PSV - GVVV:

8' 1-0 GOAL by Guus Til!
After an excellent play by Sergino Dest, Ricardo Pepi had the chance to give PSV the lead. The American stumbles on the keeper, but the ball falls at the feet of Guus Til with a stroke of luck. The ball crashes into the goal via an opponent's leg.

Jubilee goal Til It was an anniversary goal for Guus Til. The midfielder of PSV, who also acted as a striker this season, makes his fiftieth goal for the Eindhoveners.

    32' Possibility PSV
PSV has slowed down the pace considerably and is no longer looking for the attack so emphatically. Esmir Bajraktarevic now produces a shot from distance, but that does not worry goalkeeper Evora.

44' Almost an absolute world goal from Sergino Dest.
The full-back cuts out his man and shoots the ball towards goal from about 25 meters. The ball goes just over Evora's goal.

    45' Wild shot Pepi
This should have been the 3-0 for PSV. Ricardo Pepi is able to take a fairly free shot in GVVV's sixteen, but the striker shoots too wildly. The ball goes over.

    66' Pepi misses big chance
Both teams are very sloppy in ball possession at this stage. PSV in particular has difficulty creating chances. Now the Eindhoven team countered for an excellent opportunity, but Ricardo Pepi did not finish the beautiful attack.

    69' Injury Mauro Junior
PSV is 3-0 up, but it is absolutely not a carefree evening for the Eindhoven team. After Olij and Driouech, Mauro Junior is also injured. That is a major setback for Peter Bosz and his team.

79' There is a moment of cheering in the Philips Stadium, but that is short-lived. It is flagged for offside after Ricardo Pepi taps the ball into an empty goal. The American was not behind the ball on Ivan Perisic's pass.

Catching up here, PSV visiting Utrecht.

Dest and Pepi started, and Pepi scored from a Dest assist, to level the score. Esmir B joined the fun in the second half.

    Now 1-1 at 65’

Perisic scored in the 85th to give them a 2-1 lead, but then Schouten picked up a second yellow for a bad foul. That led to Pepi being subbed off in the 89th. Now trying to hold on in stoppage time.

Great free kick by Utrecht deep into stoppage ripples the net and much of the crowd didn't realize it hit the outside of the net. Persisted long enough that they kind of fooled me.

Full time 2-1 win. Dest one of the stars with the assist, three chances created, drew a yellow card, and relatively solid defense. Pepi scored on his only shot (0.54 xG) putting it in the lower corner from the six off Dest's pass, but didn't do enough else. Bajrakarevic the top sub and came close to an assist. 14 straight road wins, which is nuts.

The Pepi goal started with a great diagonal ball through traffic that found Dest alone up the right wing. Dest saw the chance for a first time ball rolled across the six behind the defense; Pepi anticipates it and is there for his own one touch finish that left the keeper no chance.

No room at the inn for Guus Til?

  16. PSV has no problems with Excelsior and starts the second half of the season gloriously, although Pepi's dropping out is a big scratch.
PSV did at home what it had to do against Excelsior: win. At home, Paul Wanner, Ricardo Pepi, Yarek Gasiorowski and Ryan Flamingo quickly made the difference. Dennis Man made it 5-1 halfway through the second half. Although afterwards there are mainly concerns about Pepi's injury.

  18. Esmir Bajraktarevic will start as a striker at PSV on Wednesday evening.
On the visit to FC Den Bosch, coach Peter Bosz seizes the opportunity to try something new in the interpretation of his attacking line.
At stake: the quarterfinals in the Eurojackpot KNVB Cup.
The biggest question mark hanging over PSV's line-up was how the striker position would be filled.
On Saturday, Ricardo Pepi was injured again, so all three of Bosz's strikers are back in the infirmary.
In the Brabant capital, the coach does not opt for the tried and tested recipe with Guus Til as the attacking leader.
In his place, Bajraktarevic gets the chance.
