That's great news. Hopefully they can break ground sometime this spring.

    Stadium Information

From the Menace website - http://www.menacesoccer.com/stadium/

The Menace, in conjunction with the Stadium Foundation, is currently developing plans for one of the only soccer-specific stadiums in the nation! The facility will meet the most stringent soccer regulations, allowing it to play host to soccer teams competing at the national -- and even international -- level. Plans call for Liberty Bank Stadium to open in May of 2005.

I haven't been following this as closely as I should.

If - and since I'm a soccer fan, I've learned to say if 'till they've broken ground - this goes through, is the plan for the Menace to jump to the A-League or are they just gonna have the nation's best PDL stadium?

Yes, I believe they have stated that their ambition is to jump to the A-League. If it's NOT an official stance, it's certainly a poorly guarded secret.
