It made me nervous just watching, it wasn't exactly live, just a several second delay, so the screen would go blank if he accidently shot himself. If you didn't see it, in short... Derren Brown aimed the gun to his head, pulled the trigger twice. He then thought he knew what chamber the bullet was in so he aimed it away and pulled the trigger....it didn't fire. So he was there waiting for about two long minutes thinking what the hell has he got himself into, then finally aimed the gun towards his head, pulled the trigger.....then aimed the gun at the sand bag and fired it. success, he didn't die. Made David Blaine look even more of a joke.
Derren Brown poos all over David Blaine anyway. But Jesus, that was tense and nervous just watching it. It was that two minute pause that made me think it was going to go wrong. Sit in a box for 44 days ???. That's rubbish.
Yeah, I was just waiting for the screen to go blank. He definetely was nervous on that 2min pause, either that or he's a good actor. I'd hate to be that lad who loaded the gun, imagine if it went wrong, christ. As for David Blaine, the only entertainment of him in that box, are the people who come just to torment him.
I guess you've read Gringo Tex's 'I've never been so proud of our English cousins' thread on FFA. My favourite Blaine baiting stunt was the person who flew a remote control helicopter with the McDonald's happy meal attatched .
The funniest one IMO is the fella who aimed a lazer pen at him, although he didn't go through as much effort as flying the remote control helicopter. Blaine thought he was getting shot, lol, and you gotta laugh at that.
