Flash forward and he has signed with (or was traded to) the Milwaukee Wave.

    Yippie?

I guess its like when the Wave had Tim Tyma or the Dusoskyses... Hate em on other teams, love them in your team's laundry.

As a Chicago Bulls fan in the 1990s, I was a fan of unpredictable forward Dennis Rodman, who was a great defender and rebounder (when he wasn't head butting officials or kicking cameramen) . He helped the Bulls win championships. If Huffman shuts down his social media accounts (or let's his mom manage them), avoids conflicts and just plays soccer, this signing could work out well for the Wave. Huffman is not a hall of fame talent but he can be a very good contributor. As long as he helps the Wave win, the fans will support him.

The Wave does need to replace Drew Ruggles, so Huffman is an asset there.

I'd love to see a real GK, though...
