1-0 victory over Cesar Vallejo in the Libertadores. Should have been a lot more though. Wasted too many chances. The good news is they did not allow a goal so if they sneak out a goal in Peru they are basically through. That team from Peru has no idea how to score.
I watched the match as well. That Peruvian Merino is VERY good with the ball. Horrible finishing and great GK on the Peruvian side.
Haha this is every Colombian side. No colombian fan should ever judge another team for having bad finishing. all our teams make other teams goalies look like Kahn !!!
Tolima gets the job done and advances to the Group stage. Sucks they have to face Santa Fe. I hope both go through but doubt it.
Important win for Tolima over Pasto at the 87th minute, 1-2, to continue leading the table with 6 points out of 6 and when we look like crap (down 0-1 vs. Itagu at half) they are on their way to the final. The have very good team, Andrade & Chara are wonderful and they have super sub like Monsalvo, very good striker .
Agree with baal, but we shouldn't forget that Marrugo did even better then Andrade (for me he is a better player)and when he moved to Mexico, he disappeared, mostly because lack of chances. Hopefully it won't happen for Andrade.
Agree with Pepino, who gave here excellent examples. But the Colombians also deserve chances from their coaches and I hope that Marrugo will get much more playing time this semester.
I saw Tolima drew yesterday vs. DIM, a justice result for them. It was an entertaining match, whith chances for both sides. for Tolima Silva once again weas great, saved them several times and couldn't do nothing in Perez's goal. I was impressed by Hugo Lusardi, the Paraguayan playmaker who was signed instead of Andrade. He was very active, dynamic, came lower to receive balls and to start Tolima's attacks and he was also the one who scored, with a bit of help from Pertuz. He aimed several times on Castellanos's goal and in general he had a good debut.
Futbolistas Colombia @futbolcolex31 Jul #OJO Diego Lopez (Ojeador de Cagliari) está siguiendo a Jimmy Chará (Tolima). (Vía @dimarzio) ¿Otro colombiano a Italia?
I wish. One of my non-Nacional favorite players. I follow him since his debut in Tolima and the guy is just getting better tournament after tournament. Right now for me he's the best player of Tolima, he's involve in their goals without scoring them and he makes a hell of a job. I wish he'll get a chance in a good European league, I have no doubt that he can make it there.
http://www.ligapostobon.com.co/noticias/anthony-silva-le-dijo-adios-al-deportes-tolim-147525 Too bad, one of the best GK in Colombia left the league after 4 great years in Tolima because he didn't want to sign a document of the Dimayor (I didn't understand what exactly, if someone can explain). Tolima is now left with Estacio (good keeper but veteran) and Serpa.
look at the date that was from last summer. Chara hasn't been all that good this season. He was also rumored to go to Nacional
