More rumors that he touched base with Lendoiro this week and that if the board changes the maximum ownership rules for the club that he will sweep in. I know some people see this as selling to the devil, but given our debt and the way football is going globally, not to mention a little Chelsea envy, I see this as being not exactly the worst thing that could happen to the club.
There was a rumor about this a long time ago too...not sure how I feel about it. I don't like Abramovich, but if it makes Depor stronger...hmmmm. Realpolitik is unfortunately the rule of the land these days.
i think theres 1 uefa rule saying that there could not be one single person owning 2 clubs in the same european competition, so im guessing abramovich will not have total control on depor and just help us clear our debts...thats good enough for me.. btw, can someone confirm about the uefa rule thing?thanks
