West Ham Fulham - Dempsey and EJ start; no Spector Starting lineups from the BBC: Eddie Johnson starts! Anyone remember when an American duo started in both striker slots for an EPL team, or any of the major Euro leagues? Spector doesn't make the 18 but that's not surprising. Is there any news related to him?

His confidence is such that he wont take two steps without looking for the lateral or back pass, his shots will be slow in coming and easily be blocked and his play in the air will be tentative and wild. I wish he would see a psychologist or go live on the streets of Lyon or something to get his mental toughness back. Dempsey will spring him for a virtual one on one and instead of going full force he will take two tentative touches and get dispossessed. During his play at Cardiff he did some really nice things. I mean really nice. He would take players off the dribble, find space and shoot. You know, real striker stuff. What happened to that guy?
