Since people took exception to my last criticism of Schumer….how long are we going to give him to publicly demand this shit stain resign before it’s acceptable to start criticizing his lack of leadership?

I have no issues with what shummer said, he can't throw him under the bus in public yet.

But actually, he can.

And I wouldn’t call publicly demanding that a guy who has now been indicted twice for corruption…who escaped the first indictment through a hung jury rather than an acquittal…resign and get the ******** out of the senate..is throwing him under the bus. Particularly in todays climate…with this Republican Party. It’s one of those situations where the venn diagram of right thing to do and the politically expedient thing to do is a damn circle.

 

Would you feel the same if the New Jersey governor was a Republican? Be honest.

We wanted Chrispie Creme to resign for Bridgegate but Republicans don't do that. Yeah Bob's slimey and we know it. But can't jeopardize the Senate either. I guess Gov Murphy gets to appoint someone to serve rest of his term should he bail. But he's not leaving anytime soon

 

The first knife is out, hopefully there will be more.

He is cooked. I would be surprised if he resigns anytime soon but this dude is a crook and an embarrassment. NJ can do much better!

 

The Dallas mayor broke his arm patting himself on the back about how Dallas has "thrived" while cities with Democratic mayors have fallen into morass of crime. He also has pitched actual stories, that have been written by alleged journalists, that Dallas is "the safest big city in America."

But the problem is that the pregnant daughter was 30 weeks in, and it happened before the SC decision. The trail just took 2 years

I just don’t get it. Why are Dems so bad at this? Calling for him to resign (with Murphy ready to name his replacement) is a layup on a six foot rim.

 

It isn't unreasonable to want your staffers to have enough time to look into it to have an opinion as to whether there's anything to it. Done in haste, regretted at leisure. Cf Al Franken...

There is a smidgen of truth to the cancel culture complaints, you know, and it can be cancelled in turn by the exercise of just a smidgen of patience.
