Re: Re: Democrat Bumperstickers for '04 Duh. I was merely saying that all of the democrats congeal together. To me, they are one entity.
Manny, let me help you differenciate them: Vote for Dean 'Because I hate Bush more than the others' Vote for Gephard 'I will abolish free trade' Vote for Kerry 'I am a veteran and I will invade Saudi Arabia' Vote for Kucinich 'I will loot small businesses and give you their money' Vote for Lieberman 'Get even with the US Supreme court' Vote for Sharpton 'We will boycott every business not owned by minorities' Vote for Clark 'Or else I will leave the democratic party' Vote for Edwards 'I am good looking and have a southern accent' Vote for Graham 'Quick! I am running out of mon.. Vote for Braun 'Female and Black. The politically correct choice' Vote for Hillary Clinton 'Because I am a victim of a right wing conspiracy, and of my naughty husband'
Here is another one: WE WILL RAISE TAXES ON THE TOP 1 PERCENT!!! and on the other 99 percent too
You mean "Fewer" lies. Sincerely, This Thread Is So Witless That Grammar Smack Actually Makes It Better
I saw one today on a VW bus: "Bush is soooooo stupid he convinced several Democratic presidential candidates to vote in favor of using force in Iraq. He's such a moron!" Next to it was another one - "Mean people svck, Clinton interns swallow."
Re: Re: Democrat Bumperstickers for '04 Hey, it's your party guy so i don't know why you're hitting them up with the grammar smack. Also, feel free to contribute to that other awful, witless bumpersticker thread.
Beautiful, in light of today's announcement. I did see a bumper sticker that said (Fill In The Blank) in 2004!
If there was a bumper sticker that said "Fewer Lies, More Interns: Vote Democratic", I'd buy that. And I'm likely voting Dem in this election.
Don't I always tell the truth? Even before it happens. An Old Testament book should be named after me.
If the Dems are stupid enough to nominate Lieberman, I could go Green again. Not that it matters, since I live in a state where Bush couldn't win even if only people named "George Bush" were allowed to vote.
Nader's not running in '04. And he got several things "right" in '00 that pluralities on both sides are warming toward supporting, including: -- Drug law reform -- Improving government transparency & info sharing -- Rethinking energy policy -- Corporate crime / welfare reform -- Immigration policy reform ... Not to mention the general desire to break the two-party stranglehold on politics. Nader's problem was that he ultimately became just another politician in the game to stoke his ego just as much as to make a difference. But Nader is not the Green Party.
I should have caught this earlier, but...ALL the Democratic candidates seem alike to you? You can't tell the difference between Joe Lieberman and Al Sharpton? I mean, right-wing is one thing, but you're not even on the same god-damned bird.
