Excuse me for the lack of detail in my post. Our natural leader left the club today and it is a sad day for all AEK fans.

Probably he is heading to Sporting Lisbon to work with Former AEK manager Fernanando Santos.

    Good Luck Demi ...

I think it's a good move for everyone. It seemed that Demi was starting to become to big for the club if that is at all possible. To much of a destraction. Maybe it is good for AEK. Plus then need the money. I hope they have some money coming to them from Sporting.

It is not that simple Original my mate, but I do agree with you on part of what you say.

Yes, Demis had a bad year but this player is pure class and did show it many times even in the past year full of below par performances.

Yes, With him on the injury list AEK did the 12 wins out of 12 games and his absence allowed all other players to fill in the scoring sheet.

But, this is a player that trully loves the club. On a good day he can destroy opponents defences, and I say on a good day for the period past, because before that he was a constant trouble for them.

Anyway... I think that he should have left earlier than he did. And the fact that we know he is not going to any other Greek team is no little thing for a professional! Also, Bajevic works better with hard working players rather than spoiled primadonas. So it may even prove better for the team in the long run.

However, AEK will only save the small amount they needed for extending the players contract for the last year in his contract! Demis is a Free Agent now, so dont be so sure about the financial benefits being that large besides the fact that on the basis of his wages we could support three younger and tallented players.

    We'll see...

By the way, Demis has not yet signed wih any other team.

I agree with the part where you say he loves his club. I don't know if he does anymore though.

    Demis to PSG??

I wish i could give a link to this or something but I read in Ethnikos Kirikas that PSG bought Demis. Is this a rumor or is this for real? Anyone know?

    99% true mate

Only the fact that PSG have financial trouble and the rulling body needs to give them the goahead to sign players delays he anouncement of the transfers.

Demis is in Paris passing his medical and trying to find a house...

Imagine if Ronaldinho stays! What a combo that could be.
