Enough of this pre season bullsh!t, when do we play DC United and when are we going to kill Dema Kovalenko? If there's one thing every red blooded Burn fan can agree on it's that this Ukranian Bastard Must Die!!!!

I'm just sorry that the shaved-headed, sunglass-wearing, steriod pumping Southlake po-lice wont be there to witness the carnage.

Can someone pleeeeease come up with a Kovalenko/United jersey for whenever the game happens? I have a (non sexual) blow up doll (don't ask) that we can dress up as Dema and bounce around in the stands like a beach ball during the slaughter.

Am I the only one who thinks wishing death upon a rival player is a little, I don't know, over zealous? I like the Burn as much as anyone else on here, but lets act like grown ups and remember it's just a game.

    Re: Re: Dema Must Die

Let me make one thing completely clear. I'm a well respected working professional with a wife, children and a home in Arlington. I know the difference between smack talk and actions/beliefs. I lay this stuff down heavily on these boards and from the stands at games - that's it.

Do I want to see a professional soccer player killed? Of course not.

But you know what Dema has done. You know that the little worm hasn't shown an ounce of remorse or a word of apology. You know that the so-called penalties and fines put on him by MLS are a joke AND a slap in the face of Ronnie O'Brien, Brandon Pollard, Burn fans and the game itself. And Dema gets away with it all.

    Fvck that!

If I were downing my 8th brewski while barreling down I-30 at night doing 93 and looked up just in time to see his hobbled ass crumpled in the center lane holding his two broken legs and crying for Mama -

I WOULD NOT SWERVE TO MISS HIM.

AND - I'd throw my empty at his bouncing carcass and watch in the rear view as feral dogs came to eat him like armadillo road kill.

I'm tired of the draft, tired of the preseason, tired of the allocation talk. I want to see that group of children, old ladies and all around prison biaaatches we called a back line last year step up like men and take care of business.

Whoever brings that Dema jersey should "Burn" it. Bad pun. Sorry. And fire codes (and respect) should probably prevent such an action.

I gotta say, I have a lot more respect for Petke now, after the way he acted before - giving it back to us with class - not hatefulness.

Wouldn't mind seeing him in a Burn uni

How would you feel if it were Salyer that he wrecked? Really, it is just talk, but I wouldn't mind if he got a little justice from another player in the league.

Dema apparently got an invite to play for the Ukranian team. He realized that he could never hack it for the USMNT. He is just a second rate player who happens to be a first rate a**hole. Personally, I don't want him to die but to receive 2 broken legs from Burn players.

I'd feel the same in that the words kill and die are very harsh, and probably shouldn't be used, even as a joke. Like I said I don't like the guy one bit, he's a worthless hack, but I just think they are some harsh words. But I digress. I'm just stating an opinion.

you say that now because you are in an internet message board, but in real life Dema would probably break your leg!

You apparently missed being in attendance at DC's games at Southlake last year - we did say that to him, and a few other things, and we had signs that expressed our complete lack of respect for him. Suffice it to say that the entire DC squad was aware of the fans' outrage directed at Dema.

While it's true that Texans and Texas is, in general, warm and friendly, we also don't give a second thought to shooting varmits and snakes.

By the way - DC noticed this thread - go to

    Love that line, Chaz! :)

As for the DC thread, don't waste your time. They don't get it - they think it is about them.

My two cents? I will hate Dema with every fiber of my soul, and I will wish him to Burn under that hate, but I will leave it up to the players to do what is appropriate regarding him physically. I mean, sure, if he tried to do an Earnie Stewart and run into the stands, well... we do have to protect ourselves. Unfortunately - oops, I mean fortunately (of course I mean fortunately - why would you ever doubt me?) - it is a lot harder for a player to get up into the stands at the Cotton Bowl than at Southlake.

The signs will be back every time we play Dema in any venue. The hatred will always be there. He crossed the line - twice - and there is no going back. Not for him, and not for us. I'm sorry if that makes some people uncomfortable. Know that this is not a normal MLS SC thing - not just for The Inferno, but league wide. You just don't see this kind of hatred.

But Dema has made his bed, all full of filth, and he is going to have to live with it.

No, probably not. One thing was abundantly clear in Southlake that day - he had no idea how much hatred there actually was. Boy almost cried, I kid you not.

And frankly, the level of hate is (unfortunately) very tangible, and would probably lend more than a few of us to not back down.

If Dema did in fact break the leg of one of us, he would be lucky to get away in one piece. Truly, you have no idea. None.

You guys are full of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dema is the best attacking defender /midfielder the league has ever had. You losers are just jealous that he is not on your home team being a bruiser. Why don't you try to kill him, this guy may be only about 5'8" but i can guarentee you your in for an A** whooping even if you had some friends. Why don't you keep comments like that to you and your therapist? Dema is a hero here in D.C. your just mad cause your Dallas burnouts suck more than you do. It is kinda sad that your highest paid player is someone that is old and couldn't cut it on DC. You only have two frickin players with a 6 figure salary now why may that be. OH! Because all you players suck so much that nobody wants to see them play. I don't even want to talk to those people talking about deporting him, even if its a joke, its not funny. Dema speaks perfect english, i"ve talked to him. Next time we play you guys, i'll get Devon Barclay to tell him about it, and you can call the paramedics before the game so there won't be too much blood loss from your loser team after dema roughs them up a bit. This thread ends here, or at least it is for giant praise for dema.
