Not that anyone will ever see this thread as it is in the Palermo subforum but what month with Delio Rossi be fired or quit.

Note: I like Rossi a lot. Many of you probably don't remember but Lecce was the Serie A team I followed when Fiorentina was in the nether-leagues.

I try to stay optimistic. But if they don't make Champions he's probably history.

thats the reality sadly. On talent, I dont think they are top 4...more like 5-7.

If he finishes in the Europa League spots I cant see Zampa axing him. He's the best coach they've had in this merry-go-round.

Honestly I lose a lot of respect for Rossi bor the simple fact that he took this job. Just as i did for Colantuono or anyone who takes the Raiders head coaching job.

Knowing Zampa, he will probably call Zenga back before the end of the season.

I think Rossi didn't have a lot of options...for him to go back to a provincial side after finally "making it" with Lazio would have doomed him to a life of Lecce's and Atalanta's.
This is a shot at another big side.

Was his contract w/ Lazio over or did he still have more years left?

contract came to an end, he had a great run and again I'm glad he didnt end up at a small side. I'll be curious to see if Zampa allows him to overhaul Palermo a bit in January as they seem to need it.

Then he took over Palermo because I'm sure he knows if Zampa fires him, he will still be paid so that is good for him.

Palermo: licenziato Delio Rossi, arriva Serse Cosmi?
    Dopo lo 0-7 con l'Udinese.

    Zamparini scarica Rossi

Zamparini is crazy but I think the FIGC should come up nwith some type of law stating a manager can not go back to the same club during the same season. I think it distracts from the game and the league. I don't remember this happening too much in the olden days. I mean I remember Gaucci firing coaches and bringing them back but not too many others....

Hasn't he appointed then sacked the same manager about 4 times during his time incharge?
