I would have thought it more likely that Strachan doesn't like players who simply don't show up at the club for the first few months of the season.
Ecuador players are not used to the European way of doing things. (punctuality)This may be Delgado's problem, that and the bad habits they pick up at home. Another problem is the fact he hasn't truely recovered from his injuries. On the other hand he did well in a couple of games scored twice and was dropped to reserves... Maybe Strachan really doesn't like South Americans, I mean, he never gave Chala a chance to even sit on the bench even though he played every game in the world cup.
El ‘Tin’ asegura que admira a Strachan ... http://www.eluniverso.com/core/elun...contid=C54A4C51C7624D308F701E8BEEDD4456&EUID=''
Re: El ‘Tin’ asegura que admira a Strachan ... Well then that just renders this whole thread obsolete now doesn't it?
Delgado regresó a Inglaterra y pidió perdón a Strachan I guess so... Now check this out...
El Tin is full of crap. He is the Ecuadorian Anelka. The guy has done nothing other than complain, moan, and make excuses since coming to Southampton. It's really sad since I believe he's talented enough to make it in the EPL. Plus, the club's fans seemed to really scinerely embrace him when he first arrived.
I'll have to agree with you prk166... He's being a wimp, he needs to suck it up, recover once and for all and give it his all. He has the talent, but he's always hurt and complaining. It's killing his career.
