Their new manager is Giovanni Stroppa, but it will be very difficult for them in Serie A without their top players.
yea my prediction is that there are to be a relegation lock. no coach, no insigne, no immoble, and maybe or maybe not verratti. i think they will be the only team promoted this year to go back down tho
Been lurking on the Italy forum for a while -- parents are Abruzzese, and I kind of jumped on the Pescara bandwagon last season. Anyway, yeah, I don't even think they were unlucky yesterday. Sure, they controlled the game for long stretches of time, and Vukusic hit the crossbar twice, but when you defend like that, you deserve to lose. On the positive side, this game should have shown Stroppa once and for all that Weiss is garbage. When the guy isn't pissing and moaning at the refs for not buying his completely obvious dives, he's dribbling into large crowds of defenders like an idiot, losing the ball way too easily, and missing good chances to score. They take him out and suddenly the team is able to create a couple of goals (including one from Weiss's replacement). Not surprising.
