Merecidamente. -www.ojogo.pt Definitely goes to show what hard-work can do. Amazing story.

There's a thread in the France boards for Delfim https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=282891
Delfim came in as a substitute in the first half and had a good game. His team,O. Marseilles, settled for a draw.
Mid-field. You must have missed his spell at Sporting. He was in one of the last two championship winners teams. He scored ammazing free kick goals, ala Roberto Carlos, seriously.
Mine too. His injury and subsequent recuperation off the field, probably one of the major reasons for Sporting down-turn in the following season after the title.
He did. Came in on the 62nd min to replace Borgetti. Had a good chance, saved by the goalie with difficulty.
Delfim came in as the third sub with 10 minutes left in the 2nd leg Uefa Cup match between Zenit St. Petersburg vs O. Marseille in Russia. He spent half of the remaining time playing substitute goalie as Carrasso got the red card .
Sorry for this upping but Delfim was my favorite, coup de coeur player last year ! We never thought he would, could come back and in this year with Marseille he was very good, playing every match as if it was the last of his carreer ! Good technique, average athletic, very good vision of the game and a warrior ! Then he gone to Bâle and left the club six months ago (I don't know what he's become, do you ?). CONGRATULATIONS José and thank you for all ! http://omediatheque.free.fr/videos/2005-06/omediatheque_c3_marseille_-_bucarest_06.avi Delfim's goal in UEFA Cup
he played for Associação Naval 1º de Maio this season that just ended. They placed 12th in the SuperLiga.
Injuried again, will miss another league game , but should be ready to play vs V. Setúbal for a match in the Taça de Portugal
After helping Naval remain in the SL, Delfim signs with another recently promoted club , Trofense, his experience in the survival of the relegation battles must have been appreciated by the Trofa directors.
