Here is my wish list for the show. Brian McBride interview Drew Carey phone interview Highlights that include more than goals Special surprise guest Clint Dempsey free styling over the credits. Make it happen boys.
Evening all sorrry again for the slight delay. Bloody 3 hour delay at the airport, honestly. "Britain's Favourite Airline" was definately not mine! The show is a tiny bit shorter this wek, only 33 mins. Im liking the bits where they spot funny stuff happeniing that you would usually miss on a normal highlights show - the bit with Dane Richards celebrating the goal that wasnt is funny. Here are the 4 parts. I havnt embedded them tonight I think the show is better in full screen via the youtube page. As ever you can get the other week's episodes from my page on youtube Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFUQf2gOKLI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIf7ZhwooqA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grcA4hZLLwQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwulWBwRGl8 (parts 3 and 4 are being rendered so if the links dont work they will be ready on youtube in 10 mins or so - just follow the links from my page)
Thank you very much. This gives us something to do on a friday when we're usually just trying to get through the week till saturday's games.
To the producer of the show: Is there any interest in making this show available to the U.S.? Afterall, it is our league, and we don't get any coverage (the U.S. verison SUCKS!) I think the criticizing yet genuinely interested spin they take on the MLS is exactly what people need to see right now. It does a good job at making fun of the American sports system, but showing we have a lot of talented footballers at the same time.
How is it ripping them off when they are developed by the original creators? Its more like adapting them to other markets. I don't see what the big deal is. Great ideas get sent both ways. Thats how modern pop culture works. But it sounds like you've got other issues. Man are you going to be even more pissed when the US version of Little Britain is finished.
Thanks for the upload! Love the show. Just curious, any idea why so few people in the UK are picking DC United as their team? They are arguably the best team in the league right now, with the highest average points per game. They are only behind in the standings because they have games in hand on almost every team in the East.
I agree with you DC are a good team but most people in the UK dont know that yet. If they keep banging in the goals they will get noticed. Fred and Emilio are looking hot. On the subject of UK TV - the best show (IMHO) by a mile on UK TV is called "Tribe". It's not a comedy show, but real life. Its so hard to sum it up so I robbed the description from Amazon. But the presenter of the show is an amazing person and a real genuine star. I really recomend you guys taking a chance on this one. Anyway they are releasing it on DVD for the first time eve - it's a BBC productionr. You can pre-order it now from Amazon UK for release in September. Its 100% mambonifico! DVD Description Former Royal Marine officer and expedition leader Bruce Parry, sheds the trappings of a western existence and lives alongside tribes, such as the forest people of central Gabon, adopting their methods and practices. Taking adventure into a whole new realm, Parry dares to go where other presenters fear to tread: hunting, cooking and eating like a native and even trying the local recreational and ritualistic poisons and hallucinogenic drugs. He also examines the way in which western influence is encroaching on these remote areas and asks whether this is a good thing. This box set includes series 1, 2 and 3. ----- http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tribe-Compl...6-6135106?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1188681715&sr=1-1 Here is a little clip from last weeks show http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPY7EaSN9pA and the preview for last week's show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qR3vPM6cbhs
Hello again, hope you've enjoyed the show now it's up. Point taken about broadcasting in the States, it's out of my hands but I guess the more people ask for it, the more chance it has! Thought you might like to know that a viewer has set up a Facebook group for the show, it's here http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=4301694068 I guess it's not going to replace the chat here but it is a good way of measuring the interest as we can count friends. As you'll see it's only small at the moment so spread the word, join up and it should grow fairly quickly. Cheers Neil
Kinsellagem, we get that Tribe show. Its called Going Tribal or something like that. Its on Discovery and is pretty good. That guy is a lot cooler than that wanker Bear Grylls, whose show hopefully will never air here again.
