    What's happened with Deisler?
I've been awaiting for his deput for 3 weeks already
I heard he has muscle problems but is it really that?

Has anyone read or heard anything on Deisler?

I hope his career is not over

He's getting his minutes, just had some muscular problems lately, which shouldn't be such a big worry and are rather normal after such a long injury. He is not expected to be able to play full 90 in this season anyway.

He has looked good when he he got his minutes. Sadly, still, I think he'll be chronically injured, much more so than Scholl...imagine if Scholl actually stayed healthy. The reason why Bayern needs such a deep squad is because the have about 10 hypochondriacs. At least they were able to sell one of them: Jancker.

Schweinsteiger's progress means Deisler will get ample time to heal. Although Bayern are my team, they are always loaded with whimps.

Exactly who are you refering to, Scholl? Every team has a few injury prone players. Does this make Nowotny a whimp certainly not.[IMG]

He was injureda few months before the World Cup. Then a couple of weeks before the World Cup, he got called up, but got injured again (same injury). He was to be out for at least six months. His return was supposed to be in January. He started playing slowly and got the injury back. This time, it would be minor luckily. That is when Hitzfeld said that he will not be playing 90 minutes until the next season.

Scholl, Deisler, Lizarazu, Thiam, Jancker, Jeremies, Kovac, Santa Cruz, Zickler and now Ballack. I am not saying they are ALL whimps, but we seem to incur more than our share of injuries. On a side note, I wish Linke was still in the back line for Germany.

Oh God, please not. With Wörns we still have someone left of the old defender category "kick the ball away as far and blind as possible". With Metzelder and Friedrich luckily a generation is growing that is able to play the ball in the defence and not just kick it away.
