    According to this lot a £10m deal is in the offing - potentially with LuaLua going the other way? Thoughts?

    Defoe/LuaLua deal?

    Portsmouth are in the bottom 3.

    That may be so, but he's far enought down the pecking order at Spurs at the moment, htat he's concerned about his England chances. That said, w/Mido heading off for a month, Defoe will have several chances to push himself back into Jol's first team thinking.

    He's just getting Keane some games at the moment, Defoe will be back in the first team before the world cup.
