Well, as for a UEFA Cup bid, all us Addicks fans should keep rooting for Man Utd. and Arsenal to meet in the FA Cup final.
That just seems odd to be pulling for Man U and Arsenal. But If that will help the Addicks toward the UEFA Cup, I am all for it.
And to make things worse, these teams need to not be paired in the Semifinals. If they would, then it is all over for the Addicks as CL clubs can't play in the UEFA Cup. Believe it or not, a non-Premiership club would be going to Europe. That would be First Division clubs Sheffield United, Sunderland, or Millwall and, last but not least, Second Division Tranmere who sit 58th overall in the 92-team Football League.
