Read Nacho and Carvajal are fit, is Casemiro fit enough to start a game ?

We can probably have a backline of Carvajal Casemiro Nacho Mendy ??

Midfield of Modric, Kroos and Odegard

    Asensio/Rodrygo Mariano Vinicius ?

No depth at all though - LV, Isco, Jovic.

Casemiro trained with the team today so it seems he’ll be ready.

Casemiro is just different. Man beat Covid-19 in 19 minutes.

Muscular problem for Ramos. At minimum will miss the next 3 games. Timetable is anywhere from 10 days to 2-3 weeks out

Varane has a problem as well but smaller. It’s unclear still if he can play against Villarreal this weekend

This thin squad (in quality) carrying so many washed up players can’t continue to take injury after injury especially to crucial players like Sergio and Casemiro (covid) and maintain any kind of rhythm or winning form. Whatever positive results we get in the next few games is a bonus. My expectations are very low. It’s not looking good for us. This season might be a write off.

For me 11 plumbers in Real Madrid shirts have a better chance to win that playing in their overalls. We'll see. Things sometimes work out in strange ways.

Barcelona will experience similar struggles, and with a lot of dissension in their ranks, I think they'll struggle just as much as we will.
We just need to get through to the summer, hopefully with the La Liga title (the CL is beyond us IMHO), and given the positive news about the vaccines, we're able to spend significantly in the summer and strengthen appropriately.

Jovic is like the 5th member of his national team to test positive. Those national team games are health hazards.

I find it absolutely ignorant that football completely bypasses any government Emergency rule simply to play some Uefa friendly tournament.

Weird, i'm pretty sure that both Hazard and Casemiro trained yesterday but they missed today's training. They could be unfit to play after COVID.

Also, which dickhead's decision was it for allowing Vinicius to travel across the world for Brazil duties and for him to not play a single minute?

Pretty sure that's wrong. Casemiro didn't train, but Hazard did as far as I know.

The absolute shittiest of luck my dude has.

Bad news. No Casemiro or Militao this weekend because they both gave an indeterminate COVID test today, despite testing negative yesterday.

I haven't seen him train today and that's what was reported by almost all the media/journos. He did train yesterday.

Squad list for tomo’s game according to MM.

    Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin, Altube.

Defenders: Carvajal, Nacho, R. Varane, Marcelo, F. Mendy, Chust.

Midfielders: Kroos, Modrić, Ødegaard, Isco, Aranda.

Forwards: Hazard, Asensio, Lucas V., Vini Jr., Mariano, Rodrygo.

I guess all the talk about Zidane being interested in the academy player Blanco was just that. If you’re not calling him up for a game where you’re missing Case and Valverde then you never will.
