If you haven't heard about Dave's Soccer Podcast you need to check it out. It's a pretty awesome podcast and worth a download BUT....... In his week 4 edition he calls out the Rapids by saying they're possibly the least talented in the league and so on. He invites e-mail praise and criticism so if you want to defend the Rapids, there's a good chance he'll read your e-mails on next week's podcast.

If this guy thinks the Rapids have the league's least talent, then he's either retarded, trolling, or doesn't know anything about the sport. In any case, why should we bother with someone like that?

Is this a case of another soccer pundit and supposed expert not taking the time to actually watch a few games that don't involve DC, LA, or NYRB?

HA! You're more right than you know, because in both week 2 & 3's editions Dave specifically says that he didn't get to watch all the games. I would assume the only CO game he watched was the opener.

Regardless- He does have a pretty decent podcast and it's worth a listen. Then you can give him some crap in an e-mail :D We should e-mail in drones to let him know that he does have his head far up his anus when it comes to Colorado however!

As opposed to the rest of the sports media which tends to be very even-handed with its commentary.

As to the Rapids bash: if he wants to make a blanket "they stink" statement about a team, he should pick one whose not at the top of their conference. If he were to state some specifics, like we won't be able to be consistant on the road, or something like that, we would know he's not talking out his backside.
