it's soon to be that time of year....roster cuts right now NY stand at 22 on the roster....18 is max and 12 iis the min...so we are looking at at least 4 cuts and 10 as a max 1) Gao Hong 2) KT- she is to annouce her retirement soon 3) Linda Ormen - it's been said she is choosing not to return 4) Bonnie Young 5) Rachel Hoffman- Young and Hoffs will be released and then maybe picked up on reserves...they know the routine 6) Minna???? Did Finland qualify for WWC?? She missed most of 2002 cuz of NT duty...it would be a waste of a foreign spot to have her miss most of 2003! any others???? other than Webber....as much as we'd like to see her go I doubt it will happen!
According to the Norwegian media, Linda Ørmen is considering the possibility of playing for the Norwegian club Asker next season. Her boyfriend has relocated to an area very close to Asker and it sounds like even if New York wanted Ørmen to come back and play for the Power another season, she would rather stay in Norway.
