Hi, we're the USA, we've met a couple times.

Get to know us, because from here on out, it's a grudge match, every match. You have our number now, unfortunately you have to play the most disgusting soccer in the World Cup to get it, but next time we take it back.

    Sincerely,
    The US Soccer fans

To be honest, I'd rather just avoid them from here on.

Screw Ghana. They are a classless team. Kevin Prince (you know someone is full of themself when they call themselves Prince) Boateng is a bitch. He tackles Donovan and screams at him to get up, and then later he gets hit in the thigh and has to be subbed off for being a **********. Inkoom wastes 5 minutes of the game for hurting himself falling on his ass, then gets right back off after being stretchered off to the sideline. He then wastes another 5 minutes of the game walking as slowly as possible across the field. ******** this team. I can't wait to see Uruguay to shit all over them.

Saw something familiar with Ghana? Fake injuries, whining, diving, flailing. Seemed like our neighbors to the south.

And we seem to beat you guys regularly.

    Such a good loser.

Because the USA were so sportsmanlike.

    Dear USMNT,

Stop choking in the WC to inferior opponents.

    Thanks.

    Seriously.

It was a good game by both sides but Ghana came out on top. No need to be a sore loser.

We returned the ball after Inkoom was obviously feigning an injury. Say what you will, that's pretty damn sportsmanlike.

    There's sportsmanlike and there's unsportsmanlike.

You want to play the ball into the corner and keep it there? Fine. Make a sub, fine. Take your time with throw ins and corner kicks? Fine. Any winning team will want to preserve a win.

Fall down over nothing? Dive? Bicycle kick the ball out of your area, watch it leave, and then lay there for two minutes? That's unsportsmanlike.

All I'm stating is that we have a new rivalry on the world stage. Ghana are a far better team than to be pulling the antics they were.

    Dear USMNT fans:

Stop crying and we dont deserve anything. You all suck. Stop making Excuses for the fnn team. Landon sucks, Bradley sucks, Timmy sucks, Boca sucks. All you fans just join on a bandwagon. Today is the Bornstein wagon.

This thread is full of FAIL!!!! At the very least 3 of the posts are so FAIL they're criminal. That was a damn good game, entertaining and had it's moments for both sides. The better team won tonight... simple as that. There should be no hard feelings towards Ghana, the US played their football and Ghana played theirs. Simple as that.

Bornstein blanatnatly dived and Cherundolo's yellow ncrad at the start was both cynical and vicious.

The feigned injury was certainly an example of gamesmanship, but you know USA indulged in gamesmanship themselves at times.

I'm out injured, so I don't think Capello will be calling on me.

You didn't see Bornstein's shorts being pulled off of him as he ran past the Ghanaian defender, then?

Well.... yes. I saw nothing unusual on that front. Even some apologies after some of the "oops I clipped you" variety. Not one of the best teams in the world, but definitely one of the classier. I guess that's what the Weezer song is about?

Anyway, Ghana played well enough to win, no doubt. The fake injury nonsense does get pretty annoying though.I don't think I'll ever really understand the culture that alloys that kind of thing to go by un-mocked. Hopefully Germany/Japan/England can stay in it after today's results.

You didn't see the ref giving a free kick after he called the foul then? Come on that wasn't the reason you guys lost today, quit being such sore losers. Jeez and you call us Mexicans that.

I did, he was fouled just before, but he clearly dived to try and win the penalty.

Ghana does not take friendlies serious. If they did, their ranking would not be that low. Ghana will show up with a Team C. Honestly, the U.S has come a long way; they did very well. On the other hand, the Black Stars are what they are. They were formed after independence in 1957 to showcase what the African can also do. Interestingly, they are the only one standing whereas the other African teams that were hyped are all out. And they are doing this without Michael Essien. Good luck to the U.S next time! Go Black Stars.

Please, name one time as blatant as what Inkoom pulled off. At least when Dempsey goes down, he comes back up with blood.
