The experienced Espanyol midfielder is yet to renew his current contract and has admitted if an offer came in from Los Che, he would more than consider it.

Arizmendi has apparently joined Alexis Ruano on Valencia's pre-summer signing, the Spanish 23 year old signed a 5-year deal after the club agreed a fee supposedly with Atletico. Doesnt sound like Carboni to agree a fee without much fuss, but what can i say.

That would be Carboni's style, past it De La Pena on a free instead of stumping up the cash to get up and coming prospect Sneijder.

Is Arizmendi the cailbre of player we should be looking at? He hasnt been amazing, but he has been playing in a poor team this season. I'd still prefer Luis Garcia if im honest.

I hope he goes to Galatasaray.

To bring him here on a free instead of paying extra cash for Sneijder would show a complete lack of ambition, and which top players would want to play in a team like that?

Sneijder would be prefered to rather than De La Pena, but the way Carboni does business if we dont get a bargain we dont get a deal. Sneijder is going for a very cheap price of 14mill but Carboni, being tight with the clubs money, wants to save it in the piggy bank. Sorry guys but Carboni isnt changing his mind so it looks like Wesley will be playing at La Mestalla next season. As for De La Pena i really couldnt care less. If he comes then... Great. If he decides Turkey is the right place then good for him.
