Anyone have an update on Taxi's availability for this game?

 

Goff said Losada expects him in the 18, not expected to start; our take is he will probably a 75th min+ sub.

 

I assume the defense and midfield is pretty much set in stone.

Question is how we line-up up top.

I would like to see:

Taxi
Kamara / Estrada

What I think we'll see:

Robertha / Estrada / Flores

Possible it's Yow instead of Robertha and Kamara instead of Estrada. We'll see.

I'd rather play Taxi from the start and get 60 minutes out of him instead of having him play maybe 30 at the end.

If h'e gassed after 60, bring in Ku-Di if we need a goal or Skundrich if we're trying to kill the game.

Yow and Robertha would be possible subs for Kamara and Estrada.


One additional note: In the last two games I think (maybe it was over the last three), we've had two really good chances on free kicks about 20 yards out. In both instances Gressel was standing over the ball and then let Flores take one and Djeffal??? take one. I'd like to see Gressel be a little bit more an alpha-dog and say "I'm taking it, get out of my way" at some point. I mean, how the hell is he deferring to Djeffal in that situation.

 

Josh Wolff liked to attack as a player. His team will attack on the counter. Maybe we can do the same. Anybody know how fast Taxi is?
