Could a few people who saw this game post nominations for DC and Colorado for this weeks All American XI. Remember, they must be American, and only nominate them if they put forth an outstanding performance. (Please be fair and nominate from both sides if you feel a player deserved it.) Gros was easily our best player, and possibly deserving of the AAXI, but Cannon was the best player out there. Kept a mostly young, bunkered defense organized and made three or four excellent saves. The one where he dove back to palm the ball over the bar was amazing.
Perkins had a nice game too. Gros...good. Cannon...excellent. Petke...mediocre. All other Americans = rotten horrid puking stench Tim
I'd agree on Gros - I think he's worthy a nomination. Cannon made a couple nice saves, and I'd agree on a nom for him, too. That's definitely the only 2, however.
The Foggy Bottom beer man - pretty sure he was American and was the only way I could make it through without tearing my eyes out after watching that load of crap
