It's time to order your 2003 DC United season tickets!

Season ticket plans are now on sale through the Screaming Eagles. We sell seats in the Nest (sections 133 and 134) and in part of section 132.

Information on prices, payment, and deadlines is provided below. Please read carefully. Questions? Contact the ticket mistress at tickets@screaming-eagles.com.

    TICKET PRICES

DC United wants to see the Nest full of enthusiastic fans, and they put their money where their mouth is. They give the Screaming Eagles a special deal on tickets and we pass the full discount on to you. Ticket prices remain the same great deal they were in 2002.

18 game Full Season Plan (14 home MLS games and 4 others - a combination of playoff and international matches):
    SE price $ 270 ($15 per ticket)
DC United price $ 324 ($18 per ticket)

9 game Half Season Plan (7 home MLS games and 2 other matches):
    SE price $ 144 ($16 per ticket)
DC United price $ 171 ($19 per ticket)

Please add $10 for UPS shipping to all orders.

    SPECIAL INCENTIVE TO ACT NOW!

Order full season tickets now and you are eligible to purchase tickets for the November 17 USA-El Salvador match for only $15 each. (Limits apply: if you buy one full season ticket, you may buy one $15 ticket to the November match; two season tickets entitles you to two $15 tickets. You get the picture. You are, of course, free to purchase additional USA-El Salvador tickets from the Screaming Eagles at $32 each.)

Order full season tickets now and you also receive an exclusive DC United T-shirt, a limited edition DC United scarf, and a 2003 team calendar. Half-season packages include the complimentary DC United scarf.

    ALREADY PAID YOUR DEPOSIT?

If you already took advantage of an earlier offer and paid your $100 season ticket deposit for breakfast with Bruce, a chance to meet Landon Donovan, or a seat on the sidelines, please let me know. You are eligible for the $15 USA-El Salvador deal.

INFORMATION FOR 2002 SEASON TICKET HOLDERS WHO PURCHASED TICKETS THROUGH THE SEs

You have the right of first refusal on your current seats in the Nest. The deadline to reserve your seats for next year is December 1. After that date, your seat location will be up for grabs.

To reserve your seats, we need a $100 deposit no later than December 1. The deposit must be paid by November 15 if you are interested in half-price tickets for the USA-El Salvador match. You may pay by credit card (strongly preferred) or by check (made payable to the Screaming Eagles). See payment information at the end of this message.

    SECTION 132 "NEST LITE"

Selected seats in section 132 are reserved for those of you who like a slightly less exuberant soccer experience. If you prefer to jump to your feet only when United takes a corner or scores a goal, order season tickets for a seat in section 132. The same great SE discount prices apply.

    SEATS ELSEWHERE IN THE STADIUM

The SE discounted price is good only for seats in the Nest and "Nest Lite." If you want seats elsewhere in the stadium, please contact DC United directly.

    TICKET EXCHANGE

DC United will be continuing its popular ticket exchange program. This allows you to exchange unused season tickets for tickets to other games throughout the year. You know that you will be out of town on a particular game day? No problem. Bring a friend with you to another game, exchanging your unused season ticket for entry to the later match. Even if you miss a few games, you'll save money with season tickets.

Ticket exchanges are available only for regular season tickets and games. Exchanges are handled at the SE ticket booth.

    PARKING

Season ticket holders will be able to order discounted parking passes for Lot 8. These orders are usually processed in February. We'll share information as soon as it becomes available.

    WHAT TO DO NEXT

Send an e-mail to tickets@screaming-eagles.com or call the SE ticket hotline (410-626-7403). Tell us:

    1. Your name, mailing address (no PO boxes, please), phone numbers, and e-mail address
    2. How many full or half-season tickets you want to order
    3. Your preferred location
    4. How you're going to pay (check or credit card)
    5. If paying by credit card, please provide the number, expiration date, and your name as it appears on the card.* If paying by check, make it payable to "Screaming Eagles" and mail to:

    Screaming Eagles
    Attention: Tickets
    PMB # 99
    2315-B Forest Drive
    Annapolis, MD 21401

    * The Screaming Eagles rely on DC United to process credit card charges. You may request that your payment be processed in 2 parts ($100 now, the balance later). Another alternative would be to use PayPal. Obtain an account at www.paypal.com and identify payments@screaming-eagles.com as the recipient. However, when using PayPal, PLEASE ADD 2% TO THE TOTAL TO COVER THE SURCHARGE. This means that one full season plan would cost $285.60 (shipping included); one half-season plan would cost $157.08.

    IN CLOSING...

Contact us now to order seats in the Nest for next year. Remember, although you can order season tickets from now until whenever, some of the special incentives will be gone if you wait too long. All orders will be confirmed by e-mail just as quickly as possible.

Do the SEs have plans for the future to attempt to continue expanding across the 100 sections in the lower bowl?

Oh we're aiming higher than that, WORLD DOMINATION BABY!!!

But seriously, we don't have any plans to purchase more sections until we can fill the ones we got.

    Gotcha. Well good luck!

I know how you feel (to a much lesser extent), as we in La Norte are trying to fill 120.

Question: me and 2 or 3 of my friends are interested in relocating from the Choir to the nest for the upcoming season. What do we do though when we bring other friends or guests to a game and they don't have season tickets? Do the eagles have single game tickets available in those situations?

I have a season ticket in the Nest, and brought friends to many games this past season. Single game tickets in the Nest can be bought on game day from the SE Booth outside the stadium. I never had a problem getting a hold of extra Nest tickets when I needed them.

Of course, availability of single game tickets next season will depend on how many season tickets get sold. Hopefully the Nest will be sold out, but I'm thinking that chances are pretty good that you'll be able to get extras when yu need them.

I've got two seats in the Nest, and had no trouble getting single game tickets from the SE Booth on the several occassions that I brought extra folks along. The closer your seats are to La Barra, the more the "seating" arrangement deteriorates, so I never had any problems standing with my extra guests.
