I'd like to see us win this match. I'm going to personally blame the people going up if we don't.

    That's ridiculous, Bootsy.

We need to have excuses ready, not blame. Don't play the blame game.

    Besides, it's clearly Fenty/Soehn/Morsink's fault.

Actually, I do hope they win, but DC hasn't exactly overwhelmed me with their performances in big games.

    Does reverse woofing ever work?

No. Reverse woofing will never work. First of all, the Gods of
Woofing, being All-Knowing, know which teams every sports fans likes,
loves, hates, despises, or doesn't care about. Second, reverse woofing
is extremely offensive to the Gods of Woofing for two reasons. One,
it insults their intelligence when a mere mortal presumes that he can
fool them, and two, they are offended by such deviousness. As a
result, reverse woofing is the most serious type of woofing possible,
and a reverse-woofer DOOMS his/her team to an embarrassing loss.

Understood, but it could go either way. DCU did beat Chivas 3-0 on the road in a huge game and beat RSL 4-1 in a crucial home game. Of course, DCU also lost 3-0 in Seattle and gave up a 2 goal lead at home against Chivas. It seems like DC plays good teams tough on the road in general(ties with RSL, LA, and FCD) and Philly hasn't been overwhelming either, so it could go either way. I'm going to say a 0-0 draw this match and a DCU win on Sunday. 4 points from these two road games would be fantastic, IMHO.

    Vamos United!

I really, really wish we had Pontius. Someone (Tino? Da Luz?) is really going to have to step up.

Oddly enough, one thing I do like in our favor is the way we let them back into the match late earlier in the season, when we should have taken all three points. It might have been too long ago -- when DeRo first arrived -- but hopefully it still sticks in their throat.

I've studied it, but I spit in the face of these so-called gods.

There is no god but De Rosario, and Olsen is his coach.

Starting XI vs @PhilaUnion: Hamid; Kitchen, White, McDonald, Burch; Najar, Simms, King, da Luz; De Rosario, Wolff (c) #DCU

Available subs: Brettschneider, Quaranta, Ngwenya, Morsink, Woolard, Korb, Willis #DCU

@CharlieDavies9 missed the trip due to a stomach virus, but he's expected to be ready for Sunday's match in Columbus. #DCU

You know with the shear number of big games that Davies doesn't make the bench or even come in as a sub; I'm really starting to think he may not be asked back.

Not even close. First off, the ball wasn't passed to Le Toux. It was passed to the guy White was covering. And then White didn't watch the ball and it bounced off of him and into the path of Le Toux. There was absolutely nothing wrong with that goal. Just incredibly bad defense.
