Brown was talking trash all night long...and deserved a yellow for some of the crap he pulled out there. Gomez shouldn't apologize to him. But he should still be fined and suspended for 3 games(give or take). Everyone knows you don't spit at people on the soccer field. ESPICIALLY IN AMERICA! Too bad two of my favorite players have done it(Gomez and Diouf). Erpen's injury cost us the game. it threw us out of order, switching your key central defender early in the game is very tough. I hope Erpen is ok, because I like him a lot. If Erpen stays in, I don't think Chicago scores in the 10th minute, and this is a whole different game. This all goes to what happened to Erpen. And unfortunatly, there's no one to blame for that one. It's something uncontrolable. The game was lost by the time gomez spat at Brown. It was stupid. It was classless. But, if there's ever a reason to spit at someone, CJ Brown deserved it. I didn't notice any other Chicago players playing partically dirty, but CJ Brown was. THE WHOLE GAME. Most of the yellows DC got were deserved, so we can't be to mad at Stott for that. And anyone who knows any thing about the LOTG knows Gomez deserved his red, no matter what happened in the box. YOU DON'T SPIT. period. Filomeno was getting hit late quite a bit from what i saw on ESPN2...and half the time, it looked like Brown was doing it. Gomito, we love you...but how can you be so stupid?

I went home and started a stupid fight with my girlfriend about getting rid of the damn old dresser on the back porch. IT WAS A BAD NIGHT. Let's just move on. Especially with Gomez. To be honest it is hard to be really mad at him because it reminds me of something I would do. He is not bad guy.
No it wasn't the end of the world, nor was it a crime against humanity but he still needs to apologize. It was a complete low-class loser move and utter embarrassment. The sooner he apologizes the sooner that everyone can move on. Gomez has the burden of addressing it and supporters who were disgusted by it have the right and responsiblity to hold him tho the standard of the only kind of man that we have known him to be--an honorable and professional one. I wouldn't say that I am still "angry' with him. Incredibly "disappointed" would be a better word. I have always really liked the guy that admiration quadrupled with his actions at the DCU-Metros game at Giant Stadium. I fully expect him to handle the situation like the gentleman that he really is.
Hey dude you can't blame Christian or filomeno for what happen on sunday. Everyone played horrible and that's it. Or we all ready forget about last year. When he can to play for UNITED the team make a big jump and we start play very well. I played semi professional in my country and in USA too. You have to be in his pants. And Christian got UNITED in the veins you don't know how much he and the others guys care about out team. I thing this tread is so bad. He want to win this game more then as. I went in the loockers room with them after the game. Christian was feeling very bad about what happen. I know Christian from long time and let me tell you guys that he want to win that game soo bad.
